Its a TOUGH life

Yesterday my classes were canceled again. I don’t know why my history was canceled, but my Italian professor had to give her presentation for her PHD. I found this all out Tuesday evening and I had no idea what to do for the day. Where to go alone? I decided on the therme. The therme is the this whole area about 10-15 minutes away from Padova connected to the thermal waters. (I didn’t get enough thermal bath time in Budapest obviously). It was GREAT. I was the only person there and I spend hours swimming in the pool and relaxing in the Jacuzzi. Then I got a massage and a facial. I was there for 8 hours. I made friends with my masseuse. Turns out I was his last appointment and he also lived in Padova, so we took the train together. The son of the hotel owners gave me his number too. Always a good idea to make friend with the people who own the spa – maybe next time I can get in for free!
