So honestly the last time I "blogged" I was in high school and it was the cool kid thing to do. Now when I find that old site I don't understand half the references and I'm continually shocked by the knowledge of information I deemed appropriate for the internet.
Anyway, I thought it would be entertaining to keep a journal of my travels and give the link to some family and friends so that they could be kept in the loop of everything as international phone calls are quite expensive. Even if nobody regularly reads up on me, I figure that I'll at least have these memoirs for myself to look back on.
I have yet to discover how much time I will have to devote to this or how often I will be able to frequent an internet cafe, but here it goes anyway...
